Smooth Move.

[ssba]

Desperate for a post summer smoothing . . .detox . . .something. . . ANYTHING to rid the SPF and humidity congested hot MESS upon my MUG, I sought sweet relief in the welcoming arms of Sephora & Ulta.

After careful research and calculations including but not limited to geographic coordinates, wind velocity, my astrological sign (ahem, Scorpio right here), room circumference and the tempurature of my Pumpkin Spica Latte (or maybe just some actual knowledge about skincare in my brain):  ‘DIS is what I came up with:

Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel Pads (EXTRA Strength for whisking away uber grodiness): A little two step peel pad with a one, two punch! Use after cleansing for 5 nights in a row and LURVE your newly smooth and glowy skin? I’m IN! $15 for a 5 pack – Sephora

Mario Badescu Healing and Soothing Mask: This stuff stinks…I dunno, sort of like mayo or I just . . .I can’t . . .I really can’t place it — but it ain’t good. HOWEVER, my finicky complexion calmed right the heck down and looked evenly toned after first use, so I’m thinking I can deal with ten minutes of stink twice a week  in exchange for happy, soothed and purdy skin. : )  $15 – Ulta

(P.S.: Pew)

Korres Wild Rose Brightening Serum: This super light and silky hydrator will add to your post peel glow AND give a gorgeous base for a makeup application. Plus – smells SUPER feminine (totally makes up for el-stinko mask) and I pretty much feel like a princess when I smooth it on. A PRINCESS.

…princess of my powder room, anyway.   $41 – Sephora
